I know you wrote "the league of gentlemen's apocalypse" but all I heard was "this is a local film for local people" :)
As much as it pains me to admit it...I want to see The Da Vinci Code too *hangs head* Only because while reading the book I thought that it would make a fantastic (as far as the word can be applied) Mission Impossible-esque Hollywood-blockbuster type adventure/action/mystery movie. Especially the scene in the toilet with the soap and the tracer, for some reason. But I think that more than anything else, it was the pace of the book. It read like an action movie. (And then there is the whole style over substance thing :P)
